The seasons are transitioning and there’s a lot to be excited about! Bear with me as I add more excitement in your life with these lust-worthy product releases and brand news:
Alima Pure Velvet Lipstick Refills: Not only am I completely in love with Alima Pure’s new logo and web design, the brand has finally released the much anticipated refills for the Velvet Lipsticks! I can personally vouch for how amazing these natural lipstick formulas are: so pigmented, creamy, hydrating, and long-lasting. The added bonus being that each lipstick tube is refillable so that once you’re done with your lipstick, you can reuse the tube without contributing to unnecessary waste. Having refills also makes buying lipsticks a bit more cost-friendly. I have been enjoying the shade Stella, a gorgeous “bold garnet” red and cannot wait to restock or try a new color. Currently, the refills are only available in 4 of the 6 Velvet Lipstick shades but rest assured Alima Pure will be adding more soon. $20 for Velvet Lipstick Refills, Alima Pure ($26 for Velvet Lipstick)
Alima Pure Pressed Foundation: Alima Pure is really killing it this season as the brand also released the much anticipated Pressed Foundation compacts. Not only is a good pressed foundation a rarity in the natural beauty community, Alima Pure’s new compact foundation is also refillable and currently available in a nice variety of 11 shades. These shades are completely new and do not correlate with the brand’s existing loose, Satin Matte Foundation products. To find your perfect Pressed Foundation match, you can use this (not-so-helpful) chart online or email Alima Pure for one-on-one support. The new Pressed Foundation boasts a “silky, matte coverage” formulated with “Rosehip Antioxidant Complex” to soothe, protect, and revitalize skin as well as “silky rice and mica powders” for “smooth, even, buildable coverage.” $34 each or $22 for refills at Alima Pure.
Rahua Voluminous Dry Shampoo, Defining Hair Spray: One of my favorite luxe, natural hair care brands, Rahua has come out with these two exciting products that I’m really lusting over. The Voluminous Dry Shampoo Spray is an aerosol-free dry shampoo in a recyclable, eco-squeeze dispenser with plant-based and mineral ingredients like cassava, cosmetic clay, and star anise to absorb oil, sweat and dirt while “leaving hair voluminous and refreshed, with a light, clean scent.” The Defining Hair Spray is a 90% natural, non-aerosol hair spray with claims of a medium hold even against hair styling devices and a “brushable” texture for re-styling throughout the day. Key ingredients like organic aloe, green tea, and organic sugarcane alcohol allows for nourishment, hydration, and quick-drying properties as well as creating “definition, hold and lasting, touchable style.” It’s also color-safe, vegan, gluten free and helps mitigate UV rays. Pretty unbelievable for a natural hair spray, right? $32 for Voluminous Dry Shampoo, $36 for Defining Hair Spray, Rahua or The Detox Market.
Lilly from Genuine Glow posted her first impressions on these products on her YouTube channel, and now I’m pretty convinced I need to try both!
W3LL People and Vapour Organic Beauty at Target.com: Target has really had some good surprises lately, most notably adding 2 more super popular green beauty brands to their online shop. Consumers can now purchase W3LL People and Vapour Organic Beauty products online at Target.com! It’s a pretty meaningful step forward for bringing green beauty to the masses and I’m really excited about it. The whole W3LL People collection is available online at Target now while the big-box retailer is featuring 12 “exclusive” Vapour products online for a “limited time”. Hopefully the push for these 2 popular brands means having more green beauty in-stores soon! Props to whoever is in charge of brand selection though, you guys are rocking it!
Schmidt’s Deodorant stick versions: I have been waiting forever for Schmidt’s to release a stick version of their deodorants! These beloved, gentle and all-natural, vegan and cruelty-free formulas are now in deodorant stick form available in all the Schmidt’s signature scents and unscented. At the same price of the original deodorant jars (see my review here) for .65oz more product, you can now pick your favorite type of application. Personally, I absolutely prefer stick deodorants as opposed to using my hands so I cannot wait to pick up the stick version! $8.99 each or $42.99 for 5-pack at Schmidt’s.
Cocovit Coconut + Charcoal Face Mask: The world’s chicest coconut oil brand, Cocovit has released a new product to their formerly singular collection and it’s a face mask! An Ayurvedic mask, the Coconut + Charcoal Face Mask is claimed to be detoxifying and rejuvenating, “crafted to gently draw out toxins + impurities, exfoliate, and absorb excess oil while maintaining your skin’s moisture.” Besides from the awesome claims of this product, I’m most intrigued by the ingredients which combines activated coconut charcoal and bentonite clay to deep clean pores and tumeric, neem powder, and Indian ginseng for purifying and brightening the skin. Cocovit is known for its luxe coconut oil that is 100% certified organic, raw coconut oil harvested from South India where it is extracted from hand-picked, high-quality, fresh organic coconuts. The Cocovit coconut farm provides employment to 30+ South Indian locals. $38 for 3.3oz, Cocovit, BeauTeaBar, The Detox Market.

Those Alima pressed powders look awesome! I am definitely tempted by anything I can get at Target but I wish the price points for those lines would go down for Target the way Pacifica did. The Ilia releases are gorgeous!! Definitely contemplating lime deodorant now… 🙂
Kasey
Yes, agree the Pacifica prices are a bit high for their quality/type of brand but I do love that they’re very accessible. Yes, the lime deodorant from Schmidt’s is my favorite! 🙂

These posts might as well ask everyone to whip out their wallets prior to reading. I shop every.single.time! This time, I finally got the Schmidt’s sticks (yes, all five!), and I tried to get Alima Pure’s pressed powder but they’re out of my shade. I’m all over their new packaging! As for Ilia, ditto Ru’s comment. Now that W3LL People is at Target, I may never leave that store.
Kasey
Yes, guilty as charged Sarita! 😛 I’m really curious about the Alima Pure pressed powder, still trying to figure out my shade though. And yes, ILIA can seriously take all my money…
Jana
Yup, I want everything from the Ilia collection too!!<3 And the Cocovit mask! 🙂 I'm super excited that the Schmidt's came out with deodorant sticks, can't wait to get one 🙂 xx
Kasey
Yes, deodorant sticks for the win! So happy about that 🙂
