Hi, I’m Kasey.

Feeling creatively stunted at my full-time job, I started Plein Vanity in 2015 as an outlet for my writing and photography, and to share my newfound obsessions with green beauty, sustainable fashion, and living more eco-consciously. I’ve also embarked on sewing my own clothes and have been documenting this exciting chapter of my life and my “slow sewing” projects.

The blog has evolved into much more than a passion project. It’s a haven where I have creatively documented my thoughts and research on products, interviewed industry leaders, and developed a better understanding of myself and my values. I’m still on that journey, but it’s been a fun ride.
