Credo Beauty carries many of my favorite green beauty and skincare brands in one place, and also has an awesome rewards program. More green beauty shops are getting on board with doing rewards programs (like the Beauty Insider program at Sephora), and at Credo every time you purchase, share, or review products, you accumulate rewards points to be used on travel- and full-size samples, in-store services (like a brow wax). If you recycle empty products at a nearby Credo store, you can also receive rewards points. Plus, I love that Credo’s shipping is always quick, and their customer service is always helpful and pleasant!
What I bought:
Maya Chia Supercritical Chia Waterless Wonder Balm- I lovingly used up a sample of this multi-purpose balm a while ago and just could not get it out of my head. As the cold winter season crept closer, I figured it’d be a great opportunity to jump on a full-size version of this product. I personally love using the Waterless Wonder Balm on my face (sparingly, as it is quick rich) focusing on areas prone to dryness and rough spots. The simple, yet powerfully effective organic ingredients included in this waterless formula ensure deep hydration, that is long-lasting and leaves skin smooth and rejuvenated. I also love the soothing, fresh citrus scent, thanks to orangeblossom extract. This balm is also great for using on other areas of the body, like on dry hands, cuticles, elbows, and feet—though for the product price, I normally use this on my face and neck. This is definitely a skin savior for the winter!
$42 for 2 fl oz, Credo Beauty.
Maya Chia The Highlight of the Day Illuminating Face Serum in Afternoon Delight- I’d had my eye on this rose-gold highlighting product as it was the newest shade to be added to Maya Chia’s standout Illuminating Face Serums. Utilizing the brand’s famous supercritical chia seed oil and other organic ingredients, The Highlight of the Day provides a beautiful, pigmented radiance, while also nourishing skin. I love how natural this looks and feels—it is not only easy to apply thanks to the simple liquid formula, you also do not need much for natural glowing skin. I’d previously tried the deeper, bronze color called After Hours, which I loved using in place of a powder bronzer and for more tanned skin.
The formula is smooth, pleasant smelling, and is very hydrating, this product never feels dry or irritating on my skin, like many other liquid makeup products I’ve tried. I’m absolutely smitten with how luminous, yet not overly shimmery, this peach-tinted illuminator looks on my skin. It definitely packs a punch, but with a natural “lit from within” effect.

EVOLVh UltraShine Moisture Shampoo- Ever since I first tried a travel-size version of included in Credo’s Clean Beauty Kit, it was love. I’ve now gone through a couple bottles of EVOLVh shampoos and I consider it my holy-grail luxury clean shampoo. Now, if you know anything about my hair woes, I’m not one who can skip a day of shampooing—it just doesn’t work for my hair type. The problem with natural hair products for me, is that most aren’t made for everyday use and end up leaving my hair even more greasy. I’ve experimented with using organic/natural dry shampoos to try to get my hair on a schedule where I don’t have to shampoo every day. EVOLVh is one of the few natural hair products I’ve tried that I can use every day OR every other day, and leaves my hair feeling clean, shiny, and soft, while not increasing my hair’s greasiness. EVOLVh is vegan, sulfate free, salt free, paraben free, and does not contain silicone or panthenol. The shampoo produces a deep clean with a lovely, mildly bubbly lather, and does not feel like it’s striping or drying out my hair. The shampoo’s clean scent is fresh, while not overpowering. I only wish this shampoo were more affordable. Whenever I can get a little discount on this I make sure to stock up because it’s worth it!

Kjaer Weis Cream Eye Shadow in Gorgeous- I’ve been a fan of Kjaer Weis makeup since I began blogging, and their cream products stand out to me as high quality, pigmented, and long-lasting. I particularly like their cream blush products for the variety in colors and lasting pigmentation. I couldn’t wait to try the brand’s new Cream Eye Shadow, as previously they have only offered powder eyeshadow, which I’ve liked, but I prefer cream formulas. I chose the shade, Gorgeous which is “a medium taupe with a hint of shimmer.” The formula does not disappoint: it is smooth, silky, and extremely buildable in color. The pigmentation feels substantial and covers my eyelids in one simple swipe. I love that Gorgeous is a perfect day-to-night shade for me, it is a beautiful, true dusty mauve, with tiny specks of shimmer.
The shade adds a bit of dimension to my eyelids and can be built up for a more dark, dramatic look. I have very oily eyelids and so far, this cream eyeshadow seems to stay put throughout a full day, with minimal signs of creasing after about 4-5 hours of wear. The refillable packaging is a luxury in itself, it’s something you actually want to keep reusing, and I love the ability to purchase refills. As a note, the new Cream Eyeshadows are a bit larger than the powder eyeshadows so Cream Eyeshadow refills will not fit in the older powder eyeshadow compacts. While it’s not often I splurge on Kjaer Weis, it’s such a pleasant treat in terms of product and packaging.
$48 for 0.08oz, Credo Beauty; Cream Eye Shadow Refill $28, Credo Beauty.
