Another catch-up on my Goodbeing subscription! December went by so quickly, I completed my graduate school studies (phew!) and then was traveling a lot for the holidays. The December Goodbeing box I received was a lovely mix of products for the season.
The official summer months may be gone, but that doesn’t mean you can’t maintain healthy radiant skin! Here are the top eight skincare products that I have been loving and will continue using to keep my summer glow all year long:
One thing I enjoy about following small beauty and skincare brands that I trust and enjoy, is seeing how products and brands develop over time. It’s always exciting to see beloved products get better formulations or more unique packaging, or even brands developing upon their mission and offerings. Such is the case with the evolution of Apoterra Skincare, a brand I’ve been a loyal fan of for their thoughtful product formulations, beautiful packaging, and transparent communications.
‘Tis the season…and I’m still rounding up some last-minute gifts because I’m a total procrastinator. In any case, I always enjoy any opportunity to sneak in some green beauty gifts for my family and friends! I selected a few of Credo Beauty’s show-stopping green beauty products (available in-store or online,) that will surely impress even the biggest humbug out there:
If you haven’t been following me on Instagram, I’ve just spent time abroad in Japan for a 2-week vacation (more on my trip soon). What peeves me the most when packing for a long trip is figuring out exactly what skincare and makeup essentials to bring, especially with a limitation on product sizes. Thankfully, Credo Beauty launched their Clean Beauty Kit just in time for me to bring it on vacation and test it out. Talk about a perfect travel skincare solution!
It may sound a bit judgmental, but when it comes to product design and packaging, looks really do matter. From my experience working with various skincare and beauty brands, sometimes the biggest struggle in selling products and spreading the word about a company lies solely with the packaging.
Minus my massive allergy attacks and the erratic temperature changes, spring is one of my favorite seasons. It’s that time of year when everything is in its prime for a transition. The most obvious thing we do is switch out our clothing to meet the needs of the seasons, but what if the same practice applied to our skincare?
Saison Beauty is a San Francisco-based brand founded on the principle of seasonal skincare. Every season influences a change in our skin therefore, different ingredients and formulations should also adapt with it for the most effective treatment. Each seasonal collection from Saison is concentrated with the highest-quality, organic plant extracts from that season.
Last year, Sarita invited me to a lovely event at the West Village organic spa, Savor Spa. I failed to blog about the event, but posted some pictures on my Instagram where I met other bloggers, experienced an amazing all-natural facial, and played around with the spa’s skincare products, Om Aroma & Co. I also met Savior Spa’s founder, Angela Jia Kim, an inspiring woman and entrepreneur.
Take a look around the web and you’ll probably find any type of subscription box imaginable. Formerly Goodebox, Goodbeing is a personalized subscription box featuring 4-5 trial-sized natural beauty and wellness products shipped to your door every month. Goodebox was one of the first green beauty and skincare subscription boxes that I’d heard of since I started blogging and now as Goodbeing, the brand still continues to be a subscription box that you can trust for safe and healthy, expertly curated products.
I’ve been receiving Goodbeing boxes* to try out their new services and I wanted to share with you my experience so far as well as what was in the January and February boxes I received.
