New Releases Radar 14

There are plenty of exciting product releases and green beauty news, but here are some that are on my radar:

Treat Collection Lipstick: The chic “5-free”, vegan nail polish brand from Berlin released a lipstick line during the holidays. What? I know, I blinked and almost missed this too. Treat has become one of my favorite luxe “5-free” nail polish brands and I was pretty excited to see that they expanded their range to lipstick. Perhaps there just wasn’t a lot of press involved, but I haven’t heard a peep about these lipsticks since their release. Strange. From what I have gathered: the collection consists of a gorgeous array of 32 lipstick shades with matte and glossy finishes, formulated with natural ingredients and made in the U.S. Each lipstick is packaged in metallic golden tubes reminiscent of the brand’s nail polish bottles. Has anyone tried these? I’m definitely curious. For now, Treat Collection Lipstick is only available at The Detox Market for American customers but you also check out the brand’s website (especially for full ingredient lists), where there also seems to be a range of lip glosses which have not released in the U.S. yet. Treat Collection Lipstick, $26, The Detox Market.
~I found that Australia’s I Am Natural store has the clearest images of each lipstick shade here.

Juice Beauty “Phyto-Pigments” Makeup: Yup, Juice Beauty has roped in Goop founder, Gwyneth Paltrow as their new creative director and the visionary behind their revitalized makeup line. Juice Beauty was a trailblazer for green beauty and skincare back in the day, but I believe the brand has since lost its appeal especially with more innovative products and sexier packaging coming from so many other brands today. Perhaps the plan was to cash in on Gwyneth’s controversial and “hot” appeal to improve Juice Beauty’s sinking presence. Either way, this “long-term business venture” between Goop, Gwyneth Paltrow, and Juice Beauty promises “high performance organic makeup” and the new products do seem intriguing, though nothing revolutionary. The “Phyto-Pigments” collection consists of all new products in new packaging formulated with certified organic ingredients. It includes a liquid foundation, primer, concealer, pressed powder, eye pencil, mascara, cream shadow stick, lip gloss, lipstick, lip crayon, and finishing powder. $20-$36, Juice Beauty.

Rachel’s Plan Bee x Kimberly Loc Limited Edition Jasmine Duo: In October, one of my favorite green beauty bloggers, Kimberly Loc teamed up with Rachel’s Plan Bee to create a limited edition Body Oil inspired by Kim’s favorite jasmine and vanilla scents. Kim and Rachel had kindly sent me a bottle to try and it’s such a deliciously scented, deeply-moisturizing body oil, I’ve sort of been guarding it with my life and trying not to use it all up…until now. If you didn’t get your chance to try out the body oil or are dying for more like I am, Rachel’s Plan Bee x Kimberly Loc are bringing back the sold-out Body Oil in a special product duo featuring a new, limited edition Body Scrub in the same signature scent! The Body Scrub is a “gentle polish made with organic sugar, apricot kernel oil and shea butter” with lasting scents of jasmine, vanilla, sweet orange, and rose. Sounds like a perfect gift just in time for Valentine’s Day! $59, Rachel’s Plan Bee.

W3LL People Bio Correct Multi-Action Concealer: I have been a fan of W3LL People’s Narcissist Concealer stick for a while (my first review of it here) and the brand has recently released a cool new cream concealer. The Bio Correct Multi-Action Concealer is described as a “luxury mousse concealer” that is available in four shades and seems to be packaged in a squeeze tube packaging. Check out W3LL People’s latest blog post for more details here. This non-toxic, lightweight, creamy concealer is not only supposed to provide “high impact coverage,” it apparently also functions to de-puff, brighten, and improve overall skin texture. Packed with powerful natural ingredients like organic algae, coffee, pomegranate and anti-aging peptides, this concealer also has claims to not budge or crease all day long. Hmm, totally curious about this one! $22.50, W3LL People.

RMS Beauty Master Mixer: The newest release from green beauty cult brand, RMS Beauty is a new highlighting product, the Master Mixer. It’s really more of a multi-tasking product which is always what I love about all RMS Beauty products. The Master Mixer is like the rose gold tone version of the brand’s popular Living Luminizer (which is a more cool toned silver highlighter). The Master Mixer is a warm, luminous, golden toned product that can be used on eyes, cheeks, and lips to provide a warmer “lit from within” effect. Rose Marie Swift created this shade to be used alone or to add dimension and warmth to other products. The Master Mixer also draws inspiration from current trends: “an update on cool strobing and highlighting products of past seasons.” I love everything Rose Marie Swift creates and damn, a rose gold highlighter?! Please, take my wallet already lady! $38, RMS Beauty.

Alima Pure Brush Collection Sets: What I imagine is the stuff of every green beauty blogger’s dreams, the Alima Pure Brush Collection Sets pretty much made me what to throw all my money at my computer screen. The Brush Collection Sets feature Alima Pure’s new luxe, high performance makeup brushes in four limited edition curated sets. You can choose from an eye brush set, face brush set, Curated Classics set, or have it all in the Complete set. As sexy as they look, the construction of these synthetic brushes also sound amazing featuring “duo-color synthetic fibers for precision pigment delivery, sleek black handles for controlled grip, and 100% cruelty-free Taklon bristles.” Alima Pure describes these new brushes as “high-performance custom tools made for buildable, even coverage and precise application.” But perfection in a good makeup brush ain’t cheap, these limited edition brush sets are all pretty pricey starting at$60 up to $270 per set. Call me when you want to send me one of these as a gift… $60-$270, Alima Pure.

H&M Conscious Beauty: Budget-friendly, organic beauty products at H&M? Yes, the retail giant will be expanding it’s popular Conscious clothing line to offering organic skin, body, and hair products in-store. So far the collection consists of 30 items, ranging from shampoo, deodorant, lotions, and face masks at insanely affordable prices: from $7 to $13. Although no full ingredient lists have been fully released, the new Conscious Beauty products are reportedly formulated with certified organic, plant-based ingredients, essential oils (and free of silicon, synthetic perfumes, and dyes) and will also be wrapped in recycled paper and plastic packaging.  Sound too good to be true? You’ll just have to keep an eye out. Products are expected to appear in select store stores soon and also on H&M’s website. More info here: EcouterreWell + Good.

Goodebox is now Goodbeing: Known for it’s popular and expertly curated green beauty/skincare subscription boxes, Goodebox changed it’s name to Goodbeing in October. This name change follows the company’s announcement that it will also be offering wellness and lifestyle boxes for subscribers to choose from. Options for these new boxes will feature supplements, superfoods, non-toxic living goods, organic apparel, accessories and home goods. I personally like the name Goodbeing better and am excited to see what will be included in the upcoming lifestyle and wellness boxes! Learn more about Goodbeing and check out the website for more details on subscription plans.

Which of these new releases and announcements are you most excited for? What are some other new products you’re lusting over?

Hi sweetie! 🙂 I’m so excited about the new launch from Rachel and Kim, I absolutely adore the body oil!<3 I did see Treat collection lipstick ingredient list a while ago and wasn't really impressed with them but I'm curious about the new RMS product. 🙂 As for the H&M conscious collection goes, I'm excited about it and I think it's a step in the right direction but I can't see myself buying anything as long as they'll sell in China where animal testing is still going on :/ Sorry for the long comment, but you know I love these posts 🙂 Love, Jana xx

Ah man, the Treat Collection lipsticks kinda ripped my heart out. I almost cried when I saw all the shades, but the ingredients list sorta sinks for a supposedly green brand 🙁
