Juice Beauty Stem Cellular Cleansing Oil Review

JBCleansingOil.jpg

My friends at Juice Beauty kindly sent me a pre-launch sample of their new Stem Cellular Cleansing Oil ($32, 4oz) which was recently released online. I’ve been trying it out in the meantime and want to share my thoughts:

Juice Beauty’s Stem Cellular skincare line features many great organic products specifically geared towards treating anti-aging and anti-wrinkle benefits. Who wouldn’t want organic products that effectively treat and prevent aging?

Along with fruit acids as normal ingredients in Juice Beauty products, the Stem Cellular Cleansing Oil is a “deep cleansing oil formulated with grapeseed, may chang, ho wood and sunflower oils. A proprietary blend of fruit stem cells and Vitamin C are infused into an organic, resveratrol-rich grapeseed base”. Juice Beauty’s own blend of fruit stem cells includes apple buds, grape buds & lemon bark. You can use this Cleansing Oil as a regular facial cleanser or as a makeup remover, especially for eye makeup removal.

I found the texture of the Cleansing Oil to be a bit on the greasy, watery side though it did feel ultra-moisturizing when applied on my face. My skin really drinks it in! The scent is not surprisingly, citrus-based and fruity. I enjoyed using the Stem Cellular Cleansing Oil on a cotton pad to remove heavy eye makeup. It cleared everything away without leaving my eyes dry or irritated. I will say, this does leave the skin a bit oilier than other cleansing oils I have tried.

As a facial cleanser, this thick, yellow-tinted oil is soothing, gentle and perfect for everyday use. It cleanses and nourishes my skin while leaving it super smooth and supple. Due to it’s greasy texture, I preferred using this Cleansing Oil in the evening for a deep, moisturizing cleanse or for removing my makeup.

Due to it’s deep cleansing, moisturizing nature I would recommend this to anyone whose skin is a bit on the dry side or for those with mature skin. This Cleansing Oil will moisturize, cleanse and treat your skin without irritation or dryness and meanwhile helps to nourish your skin.

Juice Beauty products never include any: Parabens, petroleum, pesticides, propylene or butylene glycols, phthalates, sulfates, PEGs, TEA, DEA, GMO, silicones, artificial dyes or fragrances.

Check out Juice Beauty’s informative page on why cleansing oils are more beneficial and effective for cleansing skin here.

I introduced my mom to Juice Beauty’s Stem Cellular Moisturizer  (as well as their eye cream) which is another lovely product from the line perfect for all skintypes but specially great for dry or mature skin. I love that all Juice Beauty products include organic ingredients that really feed and treat the skin and produce visible results. Juice Beauty products are also affordable and accessible online and in most Ulta stores.
